The World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE) 2023 transcended expectations, setting the stage for a new era of diversity and innovation within the civil nuclear industry. Under the theme "Connecting Nuclear to the World" the event became a global web for industry leaders, enthusiasts, and young professionals, this was an opportunity for WiN YG members to meet.


WNE's Connect to Nuclear program, a standout feature, took participants on a three-day journey into the heart of the nuclear industry. Among the luminaries recognized during the event, Larissa Noudem, the WIN Global Young Generation Lead, stood out, receiving the prestigious WiN France Initiative Award. This recognition underscored Larissa's commitment to fostering diversity and collaboration within the nuclear community.


In a series of insightful presentations, WIN Global Young Generation members, including Fadime Özge Karakaş and Amaratou Saley, Lucie Gabro, Lilia Bouraoui shared their expertise on various topics, adding a dynamic and forward-looking perspective to the discussions. Their contributions exemplified the passion and dedication of the younger generation in shaping the future of the nuclear industry.


Moreover, the event provided a unique platform for different chapters of Women in Nuclear (WiN) from around the globe to converge. This global convergence allowed chapters to exchange ideas, share experiences, and strengthen the bonds that make WiN a powerful force for change.


As WNE 2023 bid farewell, the resonance of its success echoed through the industry. Gratitude was extended to all participants, acknowledging the vital role each played in making this edition truly exceptional. Anticipation now turns to the next edition in 2025, promising more collaboration, innovation, and progress for the global nuclear community.
